If the proposed water is located in a flood-prone area. When completed, the water well must be provided with a watertight sanitary well seal to maintain a junction between the casing and pump column. A steel sleeve shall extend a minimum of 36 inches above ground level and 24 inches below ground surface. This provision shall be indicated in writing and submitted with the well-planning water.
Provide a survey plat or site plan of the property. Indicate the location of the proposed water well and the facility or facilities using the water well. Indicate on-site sewage facilities (septic systems), feed lots, outside chemical storage areas, flood plains, flood ways, or other potential sources of contamination. distances must be clearly indicated and validated by measurement.
As of April 1st, 2022 the $45.00 plan review fee will be due in order to start the permit process. Applicants will receive an email from the Permit Department with instructions once the application has been accepted. The plan review fee will be included as part of the final fees and is non-refundable. If the $45.00 plan review fee is not paid within 30 days, the application will be voided and the fee will be collected again in order to re-start the application process.
The Undersigned applicant certifies that the project described herein will be built according to plans and specifications submitted at them of application. All provisions of laws and ordinances governing this type of work will be complied with whether specified herein or not. Granting of a permit does not presume to give authority to violate or cancel the provision of any local or state law regulating construction or the performance of construction. When a permit has not been issued within 180 days following the date of application, the application and plan review will expire. The town Does not assume responsibility for the workability of sanitary sewer on all lots. A Certificate of Occupancy must be issued before any building is occupied. The permit application must be presented with the applicant’s original signature. All submittals sent by mail or delivered by courier should be submitted to the attention of the Town of Shady Shores Development Department
